Doelstellings

Objectives


 


The purposeful development of Management as a Science is based on the following objectives of the Institute:
  • to promote the interests of Management Scientists in Southern Africa in accordance with identified needs by creating and developing a forum for the discussion of appropriate management education and research;
  • to encourage and extend appropriate developments in Business Management in Southern Africa pre-eminently with a view to future challenges and demands;
  • to serve as a forum for the exchange of research expertise in the Management and Economics Science by means of conferences and congresses at both the international and national levels;
  • to initiate the collection and processing of relevant information in the field of Management, and to make this information available to interested parties by means of, amongst others, publications;
  • to encourage local and international contact in the interests of Management Scientists in Southern Africa, and
  • to promote the status of Management Scientists.


 


Die doeltreffende ontwikkeling van Bestuur as Wetenskap is op die volgende doelstellings van die Instituut gegrond:The department plays an active role in the facilitation of internships aimed at registration as psychometrists (independent practice) and industrial psychologists.
  • om die belange van Bestuurswetenskaplikes in Suider-Afrika ooreenkomstig geďdentifiseerde behoeftes te bevorder deur 'n forum vir gesprekvoering oor toepaslike bestuursopleiding en navorsing te bewerkstellig en verder te ontwikkel;
  • om, in die lig van toekomstige uitdagings en eise, toepaslike ontwikkelings in Ondernemingsbestuur op uitnemende wyse in Suider-Afrika aan te moedig en uit te bou;
  • om deur middel van konferensies en kongresse as forum te dien vir die uitruil van navorsingskundigheid in die Bestuurs- en Ekonomiese Wetenskappe op sowel nasionale as internasionale vlak;
  • om die versameling en verwerking van toepaslike inligting oor die studieveld van Bestuur te inisieer en hierdie inligting deur middel van, onder andere, publikasies aan belanghebbendes beskikbaar te stel;
  • om plaaslike en internasionale skakeling in belang van Bestuurswetenskaplikes in Suider-Afrika aan te moedig, en
  • om die status van Bestuurswetenskaplikes te bevorder.
